We are here to befriend people who we come into contact with - those who need someone to talk to. We are here to listen to people in a non-judgmental way and uphold confidentiality (except in certain circumstances) and to be trustworthy.
Our vision is to see a greater source of support within the church and the
community and to meet the needs of the people.
The purpose of the team is to meet the needs of the people we meet, to be
sensitive to their personal circumstances and to be non-judgmental. We are
here to befriend, comfort, listen, make friendships, evangelise and minister
to the needs of others.
The team runs a drop in centre at New Life Family centre on a Tuesday evening, for those who are wanting someone to talk to.
