Matt 21:6-11
The disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them.
They brought the donkey and the colt and put on them their cloaks, and he sat on them.
Most of the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”
And when he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?”

Philippians 3:3,4
Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

I like it when the bible challenges me. This verse jumped out at me recently as something I have started to realise I don’t live as much as I should.

It was a very encouraging way to start the year. We are looking forward to a great year with New Life Church Teesside as we continue to put the kingdom first and follow where he leads us. Let's all pray as a church that we see some great things happen this year and many lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus.

It's the time of year where everybody looks forward to the coming year and are filled with hope that it will be better than the one just gone.

I'm going to start blogging more this year, that's one thing I'm of many I'm going to try and change.

I hope and pray that this new eyar brings the cahnges you are hoping for. I have lots of plans for the year and I think it's going to be a very exciting time at New Life.
